This kid FINALLY lost his first tooth! The night before he left for camp his tooth was really loose and i was worried that he would lose it at camp and that the Tooth Fairy would have a hard time finding him there, sooooo..... I made him wiggle it like crazy until it he heard a big "pop" sound and it was ready to pull! It didn't take much effort, either. The Tooth Fairy found him and he ended up going to camp $5 richer! :)
I am SO GLAD that I only have on more day before I can go pick up my little camper! He's been at camp since Sunday and I've been going crazy not talking to him or seeing him for this long! The little rascal hasn't sent even ONE LETTER HOME, either. He's in big trouble when he gets home! :)
Rawhide Ranch is a 90- something acre horse ranch where kids can do day trips or week long camps and have the time of their life! Each day they have riding lessons, take care of "their" animals, shooting, archery, vaulting (on horseback), and swimming. They learn country dancing and even sleep out under the stars one night!
Here, above, he and his friend Lucas are in front of their "bunk," which is a tee-pee full of bunk beds. This video is of the boys dancing to the country music right before we said goodbye to our little cowboy.
As you can tell, he was pretty excited and didn't even blink when we left him there. I've called, written and emailed every day since he left and they keep reassuring me that he's doing fine and having a blast.
Charlie, however, has NOT been having a blast without his big brother to play with! We've tried several things to make the week fun- even a trip to Disneyland, but he would rather have his brudder! :)

Jenny I love looking at your blog. Its been way too long. I love all your summer activities. Dillon's Summer camp sounds pretty sweet. I tell you what though kids lose a lot of teeth. Your tooth fairy set the standard pretty high, thats pretty nice for your kiddos.
Is the kid in the red shirt and cowboy hat Dillon or his friend? He can really dance! So fun.
Love
your Mommy Johnson
