I now belong to the...

Super Slacker Blogger club...

I'm ashamed that I haven't been blogging regularily :( I know you'll all understand, but here are my lame excuses: I have been busy getting our house under contract (which it officially is YAY!!), I have been getting ready for my trip to Florida - WHICH - (here's the big one) I had to CANCEL :( because I have THE FLU!!!! So, now that you feel sorry for me, here are some cute pictures from the Zoo last week :)

Me watching Dillon watch the giraffes

Hmmm.... Where ARE those monkeys?????

What can I say, the Elephants are just so romantic!

Little GOOFS!

This was so sweet - this baby arangatan was only a month old!

Dillon was playing "Nacho Libre" the other day, and fell asleep with his "Luciador" mask on..... I promise they're clean! He said the funniest thing in his prayer last night. He's been wanting to go to Disneyland and visit Grandma Melody and Grandpa Doug really bad! He bugs us about it every day. Our answer has been, "we just don't have enough money right now, hon" so last night he's praying and says, "Please bless Dillon to get lots of money for riding rollercoasters in California," it was hard to be reverent after that ;)

Today I learned.........

HOW TO MAKE BLINKIES!! Thank you Allie - once again proving that someone is paying attention and becoming a better blogger/ scrapper/ photoshopper/ thanks to YOU! It's kind of dorky- but I confess I really am a HUGE Josh Groban fan ((blushing))!!

I also went to the BALLET today! I had such a great time - thank you Shawn and Kathy!! It was Ballet Arizona's production of Coppelia... just amazing!

Sorry I've been scarce lately - It's been nuts around here... I promise a really great entry SOON!

My Beautiful Family..

Here are just a few of the great pictures we had taken while visiting Utah during the holidays. Funny story goes along with them..

We had a photo shoot with our good friends the VonNiederhauserns (very talented photographers and videographers) this last summer. It lasted 2 1/2 hours and we had some pretty amazing shots all over - mountains, fields walls, flowers, trees and individual and group shots - it was pretty extensive. Well, my poor (bestest) friend Rachel VonNiederhausern calls me a couple of weeks later, about when we were expecting the photos to be finished, and through her tears tells me the photos, all 200 something of them) were deleted. YEP! Mostly I felt bad for her and her hubby, b/c they felt soooo horrible about it. Here's the great part: We had this recent opportunity to have another photo shoot with ALL of us! Before it was just my siblings and I, but this time, we were able to have siblings, spouses, and all the kids! What a blessing, oh and they also did it for FREE! So, thanks Steve and Rachel. THEY'RE AWESOME!!! WE LOVE THEM!!!

The three Jones grandchildren

My cutestest niece Alissa - Yes, she has that much hair and YES its down to her rear. For my birthday present she let me do braids and it took me 30 minutes just to brush it!

My 6'5" tall brother, Dustin, his French (supermodel) wife Lyna, and little Guzzette (french nickname). Here's another one of the three of them

My handsome and talented brothers, David, Dustin and Nathan

My Sis - Haley and I. You can see who got the gorgeous gene here... I'm the "smart" one I guess, or maybe the one with the "fun personality." ;)

The whole dang lot of us. It's been FOREVER since we've had a group shot.

I LOVE THESE PEOPLE!

Birthday party pics and silly questions

Unfortunately we had only my Brother Nate representing any family at the boy's party last Saturday. They all have requested to see all the photos from the party so here goes!

Here the kids are waiting patiently in line for the obstacle race to begin!

The obstacle course was a huge hit - the kids did really well and Nate was the MAN when it came to helping out with it! The two fastest course runners won cool sport bottles!

Some of the girls were just too cute for running and getting all sweaty! But they did it anyway!

Charlie spent the whole afternoon wandering off and exploring. The only thing he actually wanted to participate in was presents and CAKE! (Allie - check out C's eyes in the picture above!!)

Dillon took some time out to push all the ladies on the swings while also managing to give himself quite the gatorade mustache!

It was really a lot of fun and I want to say thank you to all those that came if you read this blog. We're so lucky to have so many great friends here!

OK- now a little dose of DILLON... This boy is really somethin'. He has so many unanswered and important questions that only we as parents can truly appreciate. These are just a few of the questions he's asked me just today:

"Do swords have eyes?" "Do cars take baths?" "Does Ocar's slimey worm take baths?" Is Trash Gordon a real person, or just a super hero?" "Do I have a short hand?" "Do I have a long hand?"

I Heart Blogging

So, I wasn't the greatest at Allie's 10 in a row challenge but, I was considered worthy for the prize- WHICH is the cool new blinkie in my sidebar! :) I know you already knew I was cooler than you, but now it'll flash in your face everytime you visit my blog! :)

So, it was Sir Charles' birthday yesterday! I'm sad I didn't post on the actual day, but just post and wish him a happy birthday anyway! ;) Sadly, I forgot my camera, so the only picture I have of him blowing out his (2) candles is on my phone! Here's one I took earlier in the day. He's ALMOST reaching the pedals on Dillon's old big wheel and is REALLY excited about that!

Of course as soon as Charlie is interested in Dillon's old bike, Dillon claims, "I'm still little enough to ride it- IT'S MINE!"

Watch for lots of fun photos of the BIRTHDAY PARTY coming your way... it's tomorrow (saturday) and Dillon's big surprise present is he gets to go to see the Jazz play the Suns with Dad and Nate! YEAH!! He's going to flip!

Also, we've converted the crib to a toddler bed!

"So, what is it we're celebrating here, mom?"

He didn't really catch on the first couple of days and even yelled for us to come and get him out in the morning, but this is what I found last night just before I went to bed.....

My brother Nathaniel Lloyd Jones (Nate) has been visiting from Utah since last Saturday. It has truly been educational for my boys. He's taught them many things including: how to play video games (guitar hero, snowboarding, skateboarding and boxing), how to dribble a basketball, all about tech toys like ipods and cool earphones, as well as how to stay awake until 5:00AM then sleep until 3:00PM. He's a great role model! ;) Actually in reality they worship him. They have had the time of their little lives!

He actually ASKED me to post this next one- it's not for the faint of heart (ladies beware).
